Volunteer of the Month- April 2024

Let’s give Wes, a retired Army veteran, a big round of applause for being selected as Volunteer of the Month for April! Wes volunteered an incredible 49 hours during April alone! Not only did Wes earn VOM during the month of April, but he also received the prestigious Presidential Volunteer Service Award and achieved his remarkable 200-hour milestone. Wes is an invaluable member of our team who will be moving back to the states later this month. He keeps the center running smoothly with his dedication and willingness to help in all areas of operation. Wes always greets patrons with a smile and encourages everyone to check in and fill out our exit survey. He’s our go-to guy for any task, whether it’s building something for the USO, improving the center, or setting up for events. Even when he’s not on shift, Wes finds ways to lend a hand at the USO center. Wes, your enthusiasm and devotion to our cause truly shine through in everything you do. You will be missed! Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition! 🎉#theUSO
