Volunteer of the Month-June 2021

Please join us in congratulating 🎊🎉 our June 2021 Volunteer of the Month: RP1 George Neal!

Neal is currently deployed to Rota, Spain and has only been a volunteer since April, but since then, he’s already made such a huge impact within his command and the community. Neal has singlehandedly planned and executed over 10 events for both the USO and his command and has volunteered for many more. He’s put in over 60 hours of service and has been the one dedicated person we’ve gone to for family anniversary and birthday requests and execution. For the Memorial Day Ceremony & 24-Hour Walk, Neal recruited and arranged support from the set-up of the ceremony to runners and walkers participating at 0200. When people see Neal, they light up. Everyone knows him! He is engaging, passionate, and driven and is our number one POC with that command.

We are so grateful ❤️ for all the time, effort, and energy that Neal has put in to boosting morale both with the USO and NMCB 11, and we’re excited to officially award him Volunteer of the Month! #USORota #BeTheForce #MoreThanThanks 🎊🎉
