Volunteer of the Quarter- Q2 2021

Please join us in congratulating our Volunteer of the Quarter for Quarter 2, 2021: Meg Hanley!

Meg began volunteering for the USO in October 2020 and has accumulated 400 hours, 100 of them in the past quarter alone! Within the last quarter, Meg has taken on lead roles for virtual events such as Overseas Virtual Book Club and Trivia Night, been the primary volunteer managing the COVID-19 ShotEX Vaccination Clinic, and provided support for many other large events. She helped us share information about volunteering at the Military Spouse Appreciation Celebration, danced as a shark for the USS Iwo Jima Haul-In Hoedown event, helped with multiple ice cream socials, and woke up early for both the DGF Teacher Appreciation Breakfast and Nurse Appreciation Morning Coffee.
